Irene has more than 20 years of business and marketing experience in consumer, electronics and IT industries. Besides her experience and expertise in data analytics, Irene is passionate about SMEs and women business issues. She is very active in community work and serves as the board and executive members for various non-profit organisations and is currently serving at the Association of Small & Medium Enterprise (ASME), University Women's Association (Singapore) (UWAS), and Singapore Council of Women's Organisations (SCWO).
Irene Boey is currently the Vice President of Strategies & Development at ASME. She is also the Chairman of SMECentre @ ASME and ASME Forum. With her expertise in data mining and analytics, Irene has led the national survey to explore SMEs and E-business in Singapore. Through her research and business projects, she has acquired a wealth of experience in relation to business issues in SMEs. She is also the adjunct lecturer at NUS specialising on Data Mining & Big Data.
As the Consulting Director of Integral Solutions, Irene is responsible for leading Integral's data mining, data analytics and CRM businesses Asia wide. Due to decades of practical experience in managing businesses, she is able to understand the real needs of business users. As a result, she has led and implemented the most number of successful data mining and CRM projects in industries like banking and finance, Telco, retail and wholesale, government and manufacturing.
